Dr. Mintle’s 30 years in professional media and 18 years in academia have uniquely prepared him to help lead the School of Worship, Media, and Performing Arts at Oral Roberts University. He has experience in almost every area of the communication field, from executive producer of the Christian Broadcasting Network’s The 700 Club TV program to having served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Total Living Network and President of the PureMedia Group.

Most recently before joining ORU, he created, and executive produced five new television series for TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), including Huckabee. His final project was a docudrama series exploring the history of Christianity. Two thousand years in six hours: Inexplicable: How Christianity Spread to the Ends of the Earth.

He has also served as the Dean of the School of Communication & Creative Arts at Liberty University from 2012-2017, and Academic Dean at the School of Communication & the Arts at Regent University from 2001-2012. Both Schools saw exponential growth in academic and artistic programs, faculty and enrollment under his leadership.

Dr. Mintle earned his bachelor’s degree from Evangel University, his master’s degree in Interpersonal Communication and Mass Media from Western Michigan University and the Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
