Visiting Instructor of Marketing
Nancy Howard, Instructor of Marketing in the College of Business, is an alum of ORU. As a transfer student first, she went on to receive her M.B.A. at ORU. “The vibrancy and spiritual environment of ORU, as well as the close relationship with faculty, made it 5 of the best years of my life. I grew greatly in the Whole Person philosophy at ORU.” Howard shared.
Prior to coming back to ORU, Howard worked as an Advertising Manager at Moody Bible Institute and Charisma Media developing publications and providing the financial backing to produce them. She also led the ad department at Orlando Magazine’s travel publication and was Associate of the Year for the Orlando Concierge Association. Her experience in many fields came as a result of marketing consulting in Orlando.
Italy and Europe are one of her favorite places on earth as well as Disney in Orlando plus visiting friends around the country. Home décor and exercise are also among her passions.
Being able to relate her experiences in Marketing, Advertising and Sales to the curriculum and engage with ORU students have validated her decision to return to ORU. Teaching as an Adjunct Professor in 2017, she is now a Visiting Professor of Marketing and Business Communications. “Obeying God’s call to return to ORU has been a rich and fulfilling experience. “Howard said.
